Awareness session on Section 17A of MACC Act 2009

This session is aimed at providing participants an understanding of the risk and implications resulting from this new law. This new law took effect on 1 June 2020 but unfortunately, there are a number of companies have yet to fully grasp the extent of the law. This law creates a risk to any commercial organizations, its directors, or partners as well as the management team. For any offence committed under this new law, the penalty to be imposed is MINIMUM RM 1 million and potential imprisonment of no more than 20 years.
