Continuous Improvement Quality (7QC Tools)

OBJECTIVES

The challenges faced by the manufacturing companies and enterprises are how to meet the customers demand and requirement. Product Quality plays a major driving initiative in today’s manufacturing environment. Understanding the process behaviors and variation is key in controlling quality. The 7 Quality Control (QC) tools are tools which put data into chart and graph, identify potential root cause/s of the problem, verify root causes and initiate a control mechanism so that improvement are maintained. This program will give the participant a better understanding of using these tools. After mastering in the tools, 95% of the problems in the workplace can be resolved 

This program aims to:

  • Describe the definition of quality and steps to control quality 
  • Outline the improvement methodology and define the 7 QC tools
  • Utilize the 7 QC tools effectively
  • Implement quality and productivity improvement activities in the workplace

  • Application of Pareto chart 

Tool 2: Check sheet 

Objectives

  • Describe what is “Check Sheet” 
  • Construction of check sheet
  • Application of check sheet 

Tool 3: Cause and Effect Diagram 

Objectives

  • Describe what is “Cause & Effect” diagram 
  • Construction of cause and effect diagram
  • Application of cause and effect diagram

Day 2

Tool 4: Scatter Diagram

Objectives

  • Describe what is scatter diagram
  • Construction of scatter diagram
  • application of scatter diagram 

Tool 5: Histogram

Objectives

  • Describe what is histogram

Tool 6: Control Chart
